What if Jaime Lannister doesn't kill Daryn Hornwood?

Ramsay wouldn't marry Lady Hornwood and Ser Rodrik woudn't have to "kill" him, so perhaps Roose wouldn't betray Robb? I'm not sur about the last thing.

However, probably Theon wouldn't kill "Bran and Rickon", and when Ser Rodrik and Cley arrive Winterfell, he would take the black or die. When Winterfell is retaken, Bran and Rickon may reappear.

Catelyn doesn't realise Jaime, so Karstark isn't executed. Robb doesn't lose the North, and Jeyne doesn't "confort" him, so the Freys remain his supporters. Maybe Robb remains at the West (could he march against Lannisport?) but he would eventually be defeated by the Lannister/Tyrell aliance.

Sory for the errors, I don´t speak english very well.

Unless he delays Tywin from arriving to Kings Landing and therefore Stannis wins the city, or Robb wins Casterly Rock before Tywin can get there. Both are real game changers in which a tyrell alliance wont secure a Lannister victory.

True. Also, perhaps Robb could marry Maergery and convince Mace to crown himself as King in the South.

What do you think would've happened if Daryn Hornwood didn't die at the Battle of Whispering Wood. I wouldn't bring this up unless the stuff that would've changed was very significant.

If Daryn is still alive, then there is no crisis over the Hornwood lands. The North is probably better prepared for the Ironborn when they arrive, but Ramsay could still use that moment to ambush Rodrik's forces and burn Winterfell. Meanwhile Daryn dies at the Red Wedding, and his mother either dies of grief or puts the remaining powers of House Hornwood in the hands of her cousin, Lord Manderly.

I don't think Daryn would die at the Red Wedding because their wouldn't be a Red Wedding. Without the Hornwood crisis Ramsay is never in Winterfell, and remember it was Ramsay who had suggest killing the two farmer boys. And without that Theon would've never pretended as though he killed Bran and Rickon. The supposed deaths of Bran and Rickon were what drove Robb to sleep with Jeyne and Cat to release Jaime. Those are the two big events that helped cause the Red Wedding. Also Robb never would've freaked out at Edmure for the Battle of the Fords. Robb clearly was just attempting to shame Edmure into marrying Roslin. Proof you want, fine proof you'll get. Robb leaves Riverrun at about the same time as Catelyn, and this is still while Renly is still alive. Robb has no idea that Stannis will attack King's Landing. Even if Robb claims to have found a spot that would be really good for them to attack Tywin, hm am I just supposed to except the fact that Robb's scouts have found a really good place to put Tywin that a, Tywin hasn't found in 15 years and b, remember Robb has only been in the Westernlands for like a month. Still not enough, alright consider the fact that Tywin could come west at any time, why expect him to come only just when the Battle of Blackwater Bay happens. Also why tell a man who you trust enough to leave him with vital prisoners, keep the secrets of your war councils and who is your fucking uncle not why he should just hold Riverrun. Also what about Roose's host, what if they attack Tywin. Robb was desperate at this point in the book and he needed Edmure to consent, and so he shamed him into the marriage. Wow, the one time Robb does something dishonorable he ends up getting Red Wedded for it.

If we assume that Theon still does what he does, then the siege of Winterfell still allows for Ramsay to ambush his fellow Northmen under the guise of joining them. Bran and Rickon would be killed by Ramsay but he'd blame it on Theon. Robb still loses winterfell and his brothers and still sleeps with Jeyne. Only now the brothers are actually dead.

Well no because they actually played it safe in the books, using the direwolves to go out first and see what is going on. Also Ramsay did make a deal with Theon and that was why Ramsay came. But also the North would be a little more stable so who knows, maybe someone would told Ser Rodrick, oh hey 600 men are following you to fuck you in the ass. Even if that actually is the case Robb never would've slept with Jeyne because the time in which Robb is informed of this changes.
