To me that was the most touching thing Jon did before they parted ways in AGOT. Quote “Thank you, my lord of Lannister.” He pulled off his glove and offered his bare hand. “Friend.” Tyrion found himself oddly touched. And Jon was the one who initiated the handshake. Anyway, out of curiosity I went back to season 1 and not only Tyrion became the initiator, the glove was totally omitted: you don't even see their hands.
