It's what the fans want and they want to provide fan service. Now if they actually do it, will be a different story. The books won't have it, since it doesn't make sense. When Thoros is attacked by the bear, I thought, the hound saw sth in the flames again, and that's why he didn't help him. He could have seen a mountain again...
