I have a theory for the diference between the white walkers from the show and novels. In the novels the WW have a city, they are beautiful and have giant spiders but in the tv show they have nothing similar. Now think this. In the novel Martin named them "The others". Thats because the WW from the present time are the OTHERS white walkers. The minions of the 13 Lord Commander of The Wall and they are not the true WW. So no spiders or beauty from them. Maybe the real WW are extinted and could be a reason for "there must be always a stark in winterfell". Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
