I'm missing two. One clue is too specific, though I'm told I will like it once I get it. One clue it too general, though I'm told it fits one character better than others.

As always, my problems are not that I haven't spent much time or that I haven't reread the books in a few years now... I blame you lot.

i am also missing 2...one of which i am pretty sure is yours <_<

and i hate fucking riddles they intrude on my buzz

Trying to fuck them instead of work them out might be the source of your problem :P

A little over 5 hours till the deadline.

Be aware that other voyagers might dock in the same place as you. They might try to collect the bounty on your heads and use it to bargain for the removal of the bounty on their own heads. Huntress and Mad Prendos are believed to be docking at Lys, each for rather different reasons.

there is only one reason for putting into Lys... :leer:

and i spied the Huntress on the horizon...behind me of course since Salla and I run a tight ship built for speed and well manned with highly motivated sailors... :pirate:

come along Newb...i shall teach you the ways of the sea...and encourage you to abandon Hightower in favor of a dawg on the prowl...

Ah sniffer, I may be behind you, but I’m closing in and will soon be close enough to give you a good ole scratch behind the ears.

I've been rowing in circles around Dragonstone for awhile. You guys aren't here?

Maybe :ninja:

Pulled into Braavos yesterday evening. Just wanted all of you to know that the Titan is still standing. He always roars loudest for Lady Korra and her crew.

To me, it waves.  :ninja: and... when his eyes burn blue...

Theme: Characters that competed in the joust at The Hand's Tourney

I used some equestrian terminology in many of my posts as vague hints, also using the Dothraki words for travelling by sea, and also often used the term “lists” which is related to jousting.

The riddle was a hint to two more clues hidden in the thread in the post on page 3 with the Round 2 acronyms. They are hidden by my choosing white as the text colour. See below:

Your First Mate will bring the following to your attention shortly.

Round Two Acronyms

W B W P F D

S E T T I

Your First Mate will also reveal to you that he/she has stowed a secret passenger onboard. This is your new character assignment for the next round.

TWO EXTRA CLUES FOR R2 ARE HIDDEN HERE

Sundown ends this tutelar's infatuations

Weary blasphemer's wayward path finds deliverance

But do not forget your other passenger, the one delivered to you for R1. This character can still help you. Take out your map of Westeros and Essos, plot your course, find your destination. Make sure to let me know where you will dock your ship before the end of Passage One.

A couple of players actually mentioned they would have expected Loras Tyrell and Sandor Clegane to be in this theme. They were: I just decided to have some fun with it and hide them! @jezzie_bell was the only player, AFAIK, to find these clues. They do not carry points. They were simply meant to help with the theme.

Please complete your new clue for R3 and vote for your favourite clue of R2 by Monday 9th October at 1pm UK time (so really by the end of Sunday for those Stateside). Cheers

Thank you Julia.

I have to say, I was chasing rainbows for a while. I spent all together too much time on the Rainbow Guard after the chameleon riddle.  ROYGBIV is not my friend

I thought of the Rainbow Guard, too, but it seemed hopeless to link the clues to them (with the exception of the Renly clue). I'm proud that I actually reached the (alternative) conclusion that the riddle might mean simply "white", but then I thought it was reference to the Kingsguard and got a bit confused by the fact that there were more than two Kingsguard members among my guesses. Eventually, I had to accept the fact that it was easier to solve the clues and the theme than DG's riddle.

BTW... Has there ever been a riddle game on this forum? Would there be any interest in such a game?

The creativity in our wonderful hosts riddle gave me renewed hope for this round. It was so clever and I just blundered upon it.

I’m in awe, DG
