Gregor Clegane Theme: Characters that competed in the joust at The Hand's Tourney I used some equestrian terminology in many of my posts as vague hints, also using the Dothraki words for travelling by sea, and also often used the term “lists” which is related to jousting. The riddle was a hint to two more clues hidden in the thread in the post on page 3 with the Round 2 acronyms. They are hidden by my choosing white as the text colour. See below: A couple of players actually mentioned they would have expected Loras Tyrell and Sandor Clegane to be in this theme. They were: I just decided to have some fun with it and hide them! @jezzie_bell was the only player, AFAIK, to find these clues. They do not carry points. They were simply meant to help with the theme. Please complete your new clue for R3 and vote for your favourite clue of R2 by Monday 9th October at 1pm UK time (so really by the end of Sunday for those Stateside). Ser Not Appearing
I think I submitted a decent clue for next round. You're welcome.
Castellan
Well you may not won't believe it, bit I had the theme and didn't post it! My draft email began with 'a possible theme is they all took part in the Hand's Tourney, but this has nothing to do with chameleons.' Then followed a tangled explanation of why I couldn't make the chameleon fit everyone, which I wanted to tidy up. I got mixed up about deadline and went off to draw my pictionary post. Such is life. Dolorous Gabe
Just over 12 hours to the deadline. Vote if you haven't. Send me a clue if you haven't. I just heard a terrible sound in the distance and the ground shook. Coming from the north I think. I will try to find out what has happened. Raisin' Bran also submitted a perfect set of answers to head the chasing pack behind the two Acrophilia masters. Castellan I believe would have submitted a perfect set of answers if not for some confusion about the deadline. Newbie jezzie_bell meanwhile climbs a place up the table having got the theme, just one clue wrong and taken two favourite votes. Please check my tallies in case I made any mistakes. Dolorous Gabe
PASSAGE THREE CLUES 1 Secretly tallies bare threads 2 Lonely rider overtaken. Dark. 3 Lowlifes' revolt orchestrated death 4 Lord...Reserved...Outplayed...Decollated. 5 Soft tones breed treason. 6 Stubbed toes betoken troubles. 7 'Sword!' told (believably) to... Confirmed: the Wall has fallen. We need you back here in Westeros, for the Others are marching into The Gift. Come to the north, to Winterfell, where we shall make our last stand. The bounty on your heads is no longer applicable in the north, we have repudiated it and any attempt to collect it here will be treated as treason. The southron cowards are ignoring us but if you help us defeat the Others you shall have a permanent place to call home here in the north. Land and titles are up for grabs. Each point in the game will represent your usefulness in the coming war and will be rewarded justly. We estimate that they will arrive at Winterfell in one week, so you must solve the clues and theme by the time of your arrival here, which must be by 1pm UK time on Monday 16th October. Bring warm clothes, it's cold up here!

Still... if the Others are coming, humans must stand together. I'm on my way to Winterfell! I don't know how fast I can get there though, the North is very far away from the Summer Isles. Ser Not Appearing
My clue last round was trash, but Gabe chose it over a really easy one. Clearly, Gabe is the issue and not my lack of effort or the fact it's been a few years now since I read the books. It's all Gabe's fault!!! On behalf of Gabe, certainly not (ever) me, I say the word "sorry."
Dolorous Gabe
For the record I thought the "easy" one on offer was a little too broad. I have accepted some responsibility and I did what I thought was best as host under the circumstances.
Ser Not Appearing
Psh. My clues are never broad and certainly wouldn't apply to more than one character at a time.
