Xray the Enforcer
*pours one of the ground for Cassini* Seriously, I got all sweaty-eyed yesterday thinking back on everything that we learned from that mission and how sad I am that it's coming to a close. I am sure there will be but the raw data will be processed before being released to the other scientists and then it will be released to the general public. I expect any news will be a couple of months away. Scot, you could always sweet talk the boss into letting you have that Planetary Society membership and get the info that much faster. My scientific interests are generally seen at work as "boring".

maarsen
The latest issue of Scientific American has a great article on the discoveries made by Cassini. For those of us with intellectual curiosity, there are also articles that cut to the heart of what the world is experiencing today.

Rare indeed is the attorney who has the time and inclination to exercise their intellectual curiosity about things outside their field. Sports seems to be the main topic of conversation during breaks in the action - during which I normally phase out.

I really enjoy talking science and philosophy. Small talk just isn't as interesting.
Ice Queen
NASA was talking about building submarine probes to Titan's Kraken Mare. That would be absolutely amazing. https://www.nasa.gov/content/titan-submarine-exploring-the-depths-of-kraken
