Usually I am willing to help out as a participant in surveys for research or thesis papers, but for the love of the flying spaghetti monster, if you need participants say so. If you create a topic that way I feel duped for clicking on the topic, and then I get kinda angry/frustrated, and my willingness to help drops significantly.
