Everything I'm reading is suggesting that Jerrah is getting buried on this one. Many of the owners see this as a personal crusade by him based on the Zeke suspension, and no one is taking him seriously. Rumor is that Goodell will get a 5 year extension sometime next week.

This is fine with me. It seems like this pissing contest will result in damage to either Goodell or Jones or both, and that's just dandy. Meanwhile I'm seeing headlines that Goodell is very upset that he's being offered a "non-guaranteed contract" which just makes me laugh my ass off. Though if he ends up taking a hit because he refuses to force the players to stand for the anthem... well shit, I might have to side with ol' Rog. Truly interesting times we live in.

Yeah, I gotta say as much as I detest the Ginger Hammer, I have to side with him over Jerrah. Kind of like a Vader/Palpatine sort of a dynamic, I suppose. As you say, this might just damage both of them.

Only if you're counting the films we do not name. The Emperor in the OT was awesome! The dude was so evil that purple lightning came out of his fucking hands! And he loved it! He loved being evil!

I'll give it to the 3rd prequel, he still clearly enjoyed being evil. But he's cartoonish in that one, whereas we've established the OT dopeness.

But Jerry Jones and Roger Goodell are two of the most cartoonish figures out there.

I can't help but think just how fucking ridiculous Jones is going to look when it's all said and done, and not have a huge smile on my face. All this from a guy who yelled at Bob Kraft over Goodell's shoulder during Deflategate to just take his medicine, to now threatening to sue the league if they give Goodell an extension? Jerrah sure doesn't like the cowboy boot being on the other foot now, does he? I'd wager he's going to get the Al Davis treatment from the rest of the owners after this, and it couldn't happen to nicer fella...

I hope he rots away just like Davis.

The Jacksonville team website is like a fucking pornware virus ridden disaster, but I highly recommend watching Jalen Ramsey 'explain' the fight with A J Green from his perspective.

It's the funniest thing I've ever seen in my fucking life, he BURIES Green in the most hilarious way possible. I swear to god, you won't forget watching this shit. It starts to ramp up at the one minute mark.

In no way do I condone Green's actions. At this same time, holy hell is Ramsey a fucking insufferable dick. Although, it seems a bit of a far cry, and a tad more realistic,  than the rumors that Jalen was making rape comments about Green's wife... Lol

I still maintain it was a combination of things boiling over for Green. He's extremely frustrated with the state of his team. Ramsey is not the first CB to shut him down (Joe Haden has owned him for years) and as nasty as some of the Bengals/Steelers and even Ravens games have been over the years he's never reacted like that before.

I'm sure he will.  But, since I happen to think that Roger Goodell is the worst thing to happen to the NFL, maybe ever, I can't say it's a good thing, he's terrible at everything but TV contracts, he has been terrible pretty much from the very beginning and only continues on in his terribleness.  Of course, I will hate him forever for FrameGate, but I already hated him and thought he was terrible long before that debacle.

I don't know how I would react if someone was talking to me like that.

Just the way he says "He's weak. You know that's a fact. I pushed him and he fell cause he's weak. That's just a fact."

Did that interview not validate anyone elses hope in humanity?

So the Colts are possibly facing a fraud lawsuit from season ticket holders and local ticket dealers in Indy.

I told you, I told you all. Especially you, @Tywin et al. I said he would never see the field.

In the end, the Andrew Luck we really found was the friendship along the way
