Fishbone-Slow Movin' Bus (Howard Beach Party)

Well the Overlords thought it would be a good deed to mix the black with the white

but if you're a fly in the buttermilk they chase ya'll through the night

So go ahead and burn your crosses and rape our women in the night

cause the tables are turned when your cream colored daughter will be my wife

Toy Dolls-Spiders in the Dressing Room

I put on me Dr. Marten's shoes

a battle with a spider that I wasn't gonna lose

I kicked to the left, I kicked to right

I was on the floor, but I was alright

It was gonna be a long, long night

Ren and Stimpy-The Log Song

What rolls down stairs, alone or in pairs, and over your neighbor's dog?

What fits on your back, what's good for a snack?

It's Log, Log Log!

Led Zeppelin-Fool In The Rain

And the storm that I thought would blow over

clouds the light of the love that I found...found

Light of the love that I found

light of the love that I found

Oh, that I found...

3 beautiful versions of Kashmir, perfectly demonstrating why its a powerhouse song.

I like the Ofra Haza version, I also like her other songs that keep the focus on her voice.

I heard Kashmir done by Plant and some North African muscians on the radio, it blew my mind.  I don't know if Page ws involved as well and I don't think it was the version with the Egyptian musicians you find on you tube.

A little over thirty years ago I took an album by the Inca Babies called Rumble to the USA for an exchange year.  It was inspired by the Link Wray song of the same name (there was a mediocre rendition on the album, that got me nonetheless.  My favorite songs were 16 Tons of Fink and The Interior).

Tonight there is a documentary on Arte TV about Link Wray and native american rock, most europeans will be able to watch it here.

Only in the last years have I discovered the Link Wray beyond Rumble and Switch Blade.  My favorite song of his at the moment is Fire and Brimstone.

Primus-To Defy the Laws of Tradition

What if Christmas didn't come this year?

and no one paid for Christmas cheer?

Who would cry the biggest tear?

the child, or the store?

Condolences to Young and his family. AC/DC is one of the most fun bands ever.

I've been listening to some Jpop.

Listened to the new Manic Street Preachers single International Blue. It's nothing particularly different from their usual sound, but I thought it was a good song although the video is a bit annoying.
