Is it possible that...

Sure, for all we know Brynden was trying to get more Warg abilities in his family. After the Whitewalls fiasco the next event we have for Egg is his marriage to Betha in 220 AC. We know Brynden was quite magical at this point in his life, perhaps he foresaw a need for Blackwood abilities in Egg's descendants *cough*Dany*cough*

It's not IMpossible.

And what about Willam Stark (who died in 226 AC) and Melantha Blackwood?

How close or far apart were the marriages between Aegon/Betha and Willam/Melantha?

And what, if anything, did Bloodraven have to do with either or both of these marriages?

I think its possible all thought the woodwitch was creating a pure line without the blackwoods with Rhealla and Aerys so they were not on the same time. The woodwitch is more searching for a fire child and bloodraven is looking for a combination of ice and fire. There is a good chance Rhaegar not only had contact with aemon, but also with bloodraven and knew when he saw Lyanna that this was the option for the warg gen in his child.
