Xray the Enforcer Posted January 18, 2021 Share Posted January 18, 2021 I need to get up to that portion of the Hudson one of these days. I just get so pulled into winter sea birding... Speaking of which, my friend is the sector lead for a portion of the New York State Ornithology Association waterfowl census so yesterday Mr. X and I braved some pretty brutal wind conditions on a frozen beach expanse to count sea ducks. It was worth it, though, because I got to bird with some people who I haven't seen since the goddamned plague started and I've really missed them.
