More fool you.

Julia said she does not like it, because raisins were a false advertisement, and Bran asked if I could switch with him, because he has had enough of Julia, and Castellan said it might be excellent if not for Ser, and Ser said Castellan snores, and Fragile Bird said she has no words how bad the pairs were selected, and SWMBO said she has too many words for how bad it was done. It is all completely true :smug:  I am only mentioning it to be helpful, so everyone can solve their problems and be stronger :ninja: I am very kind :smug:

What did your partner think of you?

So I've been delivered versions for most clues for R2.

I was kinda hoping they might be very gettable because otherwise this round could be an absolute nightmare but there are certainly some tricksy ones thrown in.

Still, if the clues are ready and you're happy with them before the deadline tomorrow we can start earlier. But if you want to use that time to create your perfect clues that's also absolutely fine.

Hey, does anyone have a camel to coin conversion chart?

Maybe it wasn't a good time to decide to turn bad.

Now I know who I will blame when all my hair falls out and my eardrums burst.

Yes I decided to join the mean club - s a delayed effect after my suffering in the last game. Of course we mean people are quite short sighted about the effects on ourselves of having to solve the increasing number of mean clues.

Well played all. All to play for. I'll leave it at that.

Hope you enjoyed round one.

Round Two is on its way and it could make a big difference as there are more points on offer and I might not be so helpful as I was in R1.

ROUND TWO

Shaking things up for this round, the clues are split into pairs. As before, two points are on offer for each correct character clue. Each pair of characters will form a clue to something else from ASOIAF, the correct answer to which will be worth 3 points each. The pairs of characters do not share a link in the way a normal theme does, they are a clue to something. 5 points for the overall theme, which will be derived from the answers formed by each pair of characters.

Your host has composed two clues and is delighted to welcome a guest clue-maker for this round: the Mother of Games herself - @Lady Blizzardborn - who has generously lent her time and mind to composing two clues.

You will notice there are two clues missing. Bear with me on that front. Just awaiting their finishing touches.

1a Gentle young lady rendered dangerous maidenhead. Queen thereafter.

1b Golden yarn led rounder down, mandatorily quit town.

Answer 1 – ???

2a Eats widely. Offs hubristic popinjay unflinchingly.

2b Generates youngsters left, right. Dalliance, milkmaid quest tune.

Answer 2 – ???

3a Recreant kingpin combover's laughable.

3b Escapes wagon, only hisses, pate uncovered

Answer 3 – ???

4a Royal keenly creaks, lately

4b Estoc winged, offering high parallel unsheathed.

Answer 4 – ???

5a Ever wriggly. Often hearing--popular uncle.

5b “Error?” warrior opined, “headlights? Put out!”

Answer 5 – ???

6a “Relish kills, curtail loop.”

6b Ruminates: "Knighthood!", corralling lover.

Answer 6 – ???

Overall theme – ???

Wait for it...

And...

Go!
