That's kind of what I'm trying to emphasize - the recent "extreme" gerrymandering seen in the US House is a symptom of extreme and asymmetric polarization in the US, not the cause. This leads to difficulties/complexities in fixing gerrymandering, and even if we did so, it wouldn't solve the larger problem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
