Has anyone ever noticed how the deer xing sign is also the Baratheon sigil?

The fury has spread

There was a short, but fun, discussion about this a little while back.

did the Baratheons\Durrandons always have the crown on their sigil?

(No, I got that wrong. I guess Robert added it after becoming king.) Edit: wrong again, checked iy wrong. Yes they did. Durrandons had it already. They were kings for thousands of years. The rampant part isn't really mentioned though.

I believe so. I’m on my phone and can’t quote properly, but the sigil came from the Durrandon’s and Orys Baratheon took it on for his house when he married Argella D. Or something like that

Yes, as TFL notes, if you go to my profile, I have a photo of a "modified" deer crossing sign, improved by a Baratheon fan. I tried to make the image smaller so you could see the crown stenciled over the stag's head, but I didn't find a way to resize the photo. It's been this way for a few years. The city's public works dept. must be GOT fans.
