Having myself just RIPPED through TLoLL (it takes A LOT to keep my head in a book for hours on end, trust me), I would not mistake Lynch's rather straightforward/unadorned style for 'decent fanfiction'. Lynch has his shit together, and his readers by the scruff of the neck. Oh, that we could have five or six of him...it's going to be a LONG way until Book The Seventh.
