Way to make the Warrior's Sons lose a trial by combat; stick up someone who has a psychological problem with the defending Kingsguard. Ooh. Kevan's reaction if Jaime kills Lancel in a trial by combat... It would be unusual for the High Septon to name someone related by blood to both the Kinsguard and the Queen as his champion in a trial. I don't see a duel between Jaime and Lancel happening. I would only expect it should; It be Jamie defending the Queen. and The High Septon has had enough time to help Lancel past his guilt. Because I don't see Jaime, especially one handed Jaime, being able and willing to take Lancel out. However, I don't find the whole scenario likely. I just think it'd be nifty.
