yes, it's a celebration of the poet usually combined with more general Scottish frippery. We eat haggis, recite Burns, lads and lassies insult each other, sometimes dancing and singing. And drinking.

I suspect it'll be a 'not-Burns night', then, on the 27th perhaps?

And Z, foreigners are not only allowed but encouraged, as they always are. We likes to show our hospitality. :D

hate to interrupt the Haggis lovefest, but I've got a question for the folk going to the xmas bash...

i'm thinking of preparing some form of food for the part and would be grateful if people could let me know about any dietary restrictions/allergies/vegitarianism etc
