Broke a record the other day with the highest minimum temperature of about 34 degrees at midnight. I think a few connectors or whatever you call them from interstate failed, so some areas did have blackouts. They need to act now, or we're all fucked. But then, that could be what they want. They are planning for the election after the next one and maybe even the one after that. They stuffed up so badly they know labour is going to win again. But asking a poli or bureaucrat to act quickly well what can I say they seem to stall on purpose and if they went any slower they would be going backwards! Not likely. I'm really enjoying school a surprising amount. It's very stressful, and I don't know if I'll be able to sustain it for the next two years, but it's much more tolerable than I thought it would be. NSW English is fantastic, and I'm kind of doing Music as well (I turn up to class, but I'm not expected to do the homework) which is very fun. brook Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 roflol breastfeed for long enough and you start to think nothing about flashing the boobs around ;) I've been good anyway, Darius is growing and eating and sleeping well and his brothers seem to think that he's a great new toy we've brought home....poor little bub is likely to get killed with love before too long but at least we haven't yet had any jealousy issues. My sister is now very overdue and cranky about it so I'm still waiting on this nephew of mine. I'm thinking the minor parties will eventually pass the rudd cash, the stuff about insulation and the solar power rebate I can only assume was put there to shore up the greens support and I'd say the others will come around sooner or later. I'm hoping so anyway because I realised not only do we qualify for the $950 for earning less than 80k and again for being a single income family but I also seem to qualify for the education bonus for my oldest son even though he's not actually in school yet - for some reason they tied it to age rather than actual school enrollment but I'm not complaining at all! We bought this house a year ago knowing it was too small for us but figuring we could tough it out a few years and 3 months later discovered I was pregnant again and our space issues are a bit more urgent than we thought...so anything to add to the renovation fund would be wonderful! :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
