Oh Geez, it's more funny than anything and Shryke struggles to care. How about laugh at the absurdity of it all. I mean damn he doesn't have to have a presser. Just fucking accept the award, say a few nice words about the value of African American journalist and let the press take some photos. It makes him look good, it puts the organization he is speaking to some nice pub and everyone is happy. Instead we get the no press at the press award.
WASHINGTON — Obama administration special envoy Richard Holbooke was on the American International Group Inc. board of directors in early 2008 when the insurance company locked in the bonuses now stoking national outrage. Holbrooke, a veteran diplomat who is now the administration's point man on Pakistan and Afghanistan, served on the board between 2001 and mid-2008.

During that period, AIG undertook the aggressive investment strategies that led to a near-collapse and forced a multibillion-dollar federal bailout.
Brings to mind the classic "There will be no fighting in the war room" from Dr. Strangelove.
Meh. The press will never be happy with their level of access until they are allowed to make a porno with Barack and Michelle.

No problem, I actually like Holbrooke but it is a tangled web.
