The Healthy Weight and Eating Thread

I am still full from last nights dinner. A motor rep was in town and they like to take my coworkers and I out to make sure that we will continue to sell their products. Well, last night this guy took us out to sushi. It was all the sushi and drinks we wanted for free. I love sushi and cannot always afford it, so I stuffed myself. Had some wonderful sashimi, mmmmm. Turned down dessert, I couldn't have eaten it anyway.

This rep will be in again today to buy us lunch. :(

While I appreciate the free meals (and really, this rep does not have to include me, most reps just treat everyone else but me because I am just the secretary) but I don't see why companies do this. Most of my co-workers just take advantage of it and drink too much. Its horribly unprofesional.

Sorry to hear about the long crazy day today, Chats. It sounds like you are armed with healthy eating choices though. The Starbucks was probably good for keeping your sanity on a day like today.

Just don't do it again, Lany!

Yes Sir! I mean, No Sir! I mean, I won't Sir!

 It was my first slip in a while. I am just so blah! today and I have a deadline to meet. It is my only dealine this week, so I'll be good.

I found a picture of me on-line last night from Spring? 2006 (thanks Kalbear  ) when I was at my highest weight. Damn, it is good to see the difference 40 pounds can make. Hard to believe, but my belly was bigger than my boobs. Now that was depressing.

I started work at 8 this morning, and hopefully will leave before midnight tonight. But the max I could possibly want to eat for the day is 1,410, considering that I brought yogurt, oatmeal, and applesauce with me for dinner. Although I'm going to try to keep it to 1,250 by skipping the oatmeal, or eating the 1,410 and working out, if I can get the hell out of here before the Y closes.

I'm back on the MoR after quarter close. (I had a Starbucks latte and chocolate chunk cookie that pushed the calories up to 1,060 so early in the day).

I hate days like that - I have too many of those for my liking. When I am stuck in the office for the day - totally sedentary, but the mental strain and nervous tension drives me to eat more, while I can't work out, I come to the office at 6:30 am and don't have any energy to work out before that, and don't get out until very late and even though the gym is open 24 hours, I am dead tired and can't drag myself there. Usually, I would make up for extra food and not enough calories burnt the next day, or on a weekend, when I would run extra 3-4 miles, or juice fast for 72 hours.

I am starting work again now, so I hope that I can keep up the good eating. Yesterday I went over, but only by 20 calories, and it was worth it. I was so nervous and the ice cream really helped! Today is on track...just gotta maintain some self control and not eat just because I'm not doing anything else.

I had the Dairy Queen blizzard yesterday. salient point of which wasn't the fat or sugar content, but the awful, irrational mood it put me in four hours later. I'm positive it was due to the sugar crash and naught else. At least I didn't double up and get a burger and fries afterwards like I wanted to, so there's that.

now I'm having a bowl of scrambled egg beaters and a little blue cheese crumbled on top.

Good news! Apparently, water weight does stick around for a few days after the curse, because I am back down to 113 today. :)

I ordered my new catsuit for the Con, and am doing cardio and weights tonight at the Y!!!

I won't be at the con, so I demand pics of you in said catsuit. Posing with props is encouraged.

Those damn Dairy Queen commercials have been making me want one of those blizzards. Was it the brownie batter one? I'll remember the bad mood it put you in and remind myself it is just not worth it. Oddly, your eggs and blue cheese sound more appealing to me right now.

I love posting after the 400th post. it makes me feel so outlaw.

nah, I do the banana cream pie one. I like it because:

1) it sounds vaguely pornographic

2) it combines graham crackers, REAL BANANAS, ice cream, and some probably really unhealthy banana flavored syrup all together. it makes me especially happy when the blizzard maker heaps it up high over the rim of the cup, forming a mond in the middle. Lastly,

3) did I mention it sounds vaguely pornographic?

I have such a horrible addiction to them, I've ordered one, and then gotten a call in the taxi before I'm finished, and then will eat the thing while driving someone around. What else should I do, wait for it to melt? :wideeyed:
