It's hardly complicated.Also, I am quite amused by this new talking point on how Europe is failing.It's even more ironic because if Europe is failing it's because of of the austerity measures they implemented, not because of safety net programs. China did stimulus on the scale necessary to rise out of the recession and they rocketed out of bad news so fast they had to put on the brakes repeatedly to keep themselves from overheating, economically. Austerity is great, "hey guys, if we take gasoline OUT of the tank the car will run better, and longer AND it will never run out of gas! My point is not that the "US is 100,000 times AWESOMER than the rest of the world". It is simply that when we are discussing "Freedom of Speech" the US is definitely more permissive than most of the Western world regarding speech.
