Glyndwr
For some reason I was picturing that creepy arsehole the "Judderman"..........That chilly tosser scared the bejesus out of my kids & for some reason when I read of the white walkers I thought of him. Johnny Targaryen
I just wanted to chirp in and say that I also used my skills as a spacebar-jockey to pause on that same frame, and I was fucking delighted. I never got more than a vague image in my head from GRRM's descriptions, but it seemed like the book Others are more akin to the sleek, slender ice-elf-type creature shown in the comic book--which I think are cliched and above all not frightening. The cat-sasquatch-demon Others, on the other hand, are utterly alien and inhuman. They remind me of some Lovecraftian Eldritch horror. When I finally got right frame, that face gave me chills. Though maybe I'm a wuss.
lezboyd
I liked the concept of the WW's look in the graphic novels better. It fits the description in the novels. At the very least, I hope the TV series clads them in white, rather than this Chewbacca look they have going in the pilot. They are after all creatures of the cold. Pasha Pook
Are the graphic novels out yet?
Venardhi
The concept of what they did in the graphic novel isn't bad, but the art itself is a bit regrettable. Shame.
