Rodrik of Dorne
With the last Dunk & Egg tale we learned that Dagon Greyjoy brought his men to the northern parts of the Stark lands, and that the Stark Lord was Beron. Could him be the father of Edwyle Stark (and grandfather of Rickard)? I think yes. Jon Snow once said that at the time of his grandfather's grandfather the wildlings (under Raymund Redbeard) were defeated near the Long Lake(by the brothers Willam and Artos Stark). So, can we consider that Willam (or Artos) was Beron's father? If so, we could have the chronological list of the last 150 years of Starks:- Willam/Artos (after Willam died fighting the wildlings)- Beron- Edwyle- Rickard- EddardIs it right or am I missing something? If am I right, who do you guys think was the Lord Stark that the men of skagos killed in a rebellion (some hundred years ago, considering ASOIAF)? Edwyle or Beron?EDIT: How can I email GRRM to ask him directly?
Rodrik of Dorne
Ok, I just discovered that, by Beron's time, there were three other (dead) Lords of Stark. Their widows, the Wolf-Women of Winterfell, will be featured in the next Dunk & Egg story.
