Gran de Lys
I don't recognize Ser Jorah anymore. Granted, the memory of the lovesick counsel he was is fading as I wade through this big book, but he's become a wisecrack sidekick, closer to Bronn than the man he was. I feel that GRRM has lost his compass on this character, which is too bad, because I find Jorah really interesting and complex. It was a great chapter, though, and every time I forget that Tyrion is in danger of getting all greyscaley, he reminds me. Shudder ....

rane008
Anyone else notice that the name of the ship, when translated, is the Perfumed Seneschal?
MotherStark
I am also not liking the way Jorah was acting..it is very strange. Especially when Tyrion met him at the brothel..With a girl on his lap..i never pictured Jorah like that. I always thought Jorah had some sense and wisdom, now I think he's an ARSE. Bad Hound!
Tyrion behaved very honourably with Sansa at KL (before and after their wedding) so it is not surprising in the least to see him capable of compassion.
