Prophecy Posted July 13, 2015 Share Posted July 13, 2015 Well, one could reason that his motivation for killing the mountain would be completely different - Before it was because he was full of hate and just wanted blood - now it could easily be set up so he did it to defend the innocent and vanquish what is now an abomination. You've got good ol' irony rearing it's head there again - he only gets to kill him once he's forgiven him. Mountain vs Hound (as they appear to be in WoW) becomes an allegory for a clash of Magic vs. Faith. There's little if anything for Sandor to inherit (earlier post), Clegane holdings are a house and a little land acquired by their grandfather for saving Tytos Lannister's life.
