Rhymes for a song about the Red Wedding

There are songs about conquests and other things in ASoIaF.

I propose we create rhymes for a song about the Red Wedding. Or, alternatively, you can write a rhyme for a song that (we hope) will be needed when Starks win in the end and all the Freys, Boltons and Lannisters crumble and perish.

It is probably too much of a job to create a whole song at once, so you can propose one or more lines with simple rhymes. Maybe they will fit in one song eventually.

The idea has just come into my head so I have nothing better yet than:

.... and young wolf was caught off guards,

"Jamie Lannister sends his regards"...

Do it better than me

'Fire&Blood'

:bawl: I... I thought we were becoming friends! You wound me with this! :crying:

Yes, I am not a friend material, I see. But we are not approving the Red Wedding with this song. We can show how vile and ew the Freys are.

Mmmm...

...Wind howled through the hall

Of the ball

Where Freys broke bread in a feast

And the right of the guest....

Help me!

Red Wedding:

The Wolves were murdered by Weasels,

While Lions were pulling the strings,

The River flows red and the wrong King is dead,

Wearing a wolf’s head instead of wings. (wings because dead- angels-geddit? No? ahem :leaving: )

The golden Bastard still smirks on his throne,

“One down, who’s next to die?!”

The Wolf’s gentle mother is a living dead crone,

“It’s not my time yet to say goodbye!”

Sorry for abusing the English language :P

I really hoped we will have song about RW, so far nothing, so my own poor attempt:

As guests he come to towers,

to feast with his death

for in the in the darkest of the hours

no sacred law is left

the weasels ate the wolf!

 Well, then. I shall just have to join in, won't I?!

"You were sworn to another",

"But I love her, Mother".

"The Late Lord Frey

Will certainly make you pay.

He is old and weak

But he can still make you squeak.

The Young Wolf you may be

But only a boy do I see.

We need the Twins, we must pass

But first you must kiss Frey's arse." ( )

Yeah I'm crap. Clearly it's from Catelyn's POV. But that was kinda fun! Well done Lady of Oldcastle, as usual you have shamed us all

Hold on, hold on, I'm on a roll:

Wrong tunes, sung by steelclad cowards,

To drums pounding the wrong beat,

The songs turned to screams in the Towers,

and the carrion crows found fresh meat.

I'm enjoying this way too much.

Get away! You're too good

Oh I luv it!

And yeah, I'm kind of awesome, so what can I do about it  . Nah, y'all are the best :grouphug:

While old Walder sat in his chair

Roose Bolton told a horrid lie

Accursed in the eyes of gods and men

It is known, all Freys must die

There's a dead queen in the Wolfswood

Hunting Freys with Beric's life

No way back for Walder's spawn

Walder, Walda? Feel Ice!

Manderly will never stand for this

He'll stoke up Last Hearth's embers

Every Lord should always know

The Stark's north remembers

The horrid drums for Jinglebell

A vicious tune from here

the signal to betray the North?

The Reynes of Castamere

ETA: Just saw Lady's post, I'm only gonna observe in this thread from now on :C

Oh please continue! I can already hear what you wrote as a song in my head! Love it. Sadly I'm out of likes again atm. :tantrum:

And at every dark midnight

When the castle freezes in silence and fear

Ghostly shapes of a wolf and dead king

Appear and again dissapear

Creepy! I like this, we should attempt to put it all together into one song. I'm no song-writer, so I'll just sit here looking pretty as usual :smug:

You are the slit in my neck

You are the reason I'm dead.

You are the son I first bore,

While your father went to war.

No life, no life, in your Tully blue eyes,

I never knew my lords could be so violent.

A revelation in the light of day,

You can't help me now you're fading away.

'No Light, No Light', Florence :D S'all I could come up with haha

Um...I might have one more...don't be mad, women have to say/write out everything they think, or else they get a headache. Surely you don't want me to be in pain?

Inspired by the Rains of Castamere:

And who are you, the proud lord said, that I should bow so low?

Only a pup, still on the breast,

That's all the truth I know.

The wolf's sad howl pales to great roars,

The Lion's claws cut deep,

And in the Twins, the Weasels laugh,

And flayed men join the feast.

Bread and Salt were shared that night,

Still dancing turned to fight,

"The North Remembers!" for all time,

You all shall live in fright!

Damn you for coming up with this topic, it's making my head spin :P

Edit: Btw I had

melody in my head to the text.
