"Promise me Ned..." she didn't want her child to be discovered being the result of incest. Eddard will be too honorable for himself to even think of incest or fathering a bastard. The way i see it is Jon is indeed Lyannas kid. this also explains the finding of ghost, He is a stark(perhaps Targaryen) but yes, this also explains why Ned wouldnt send Jon away even after persistence by kat. :p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tyshrek_Lannister Posted December 20, 2014 Share Posted December 20, 2014 R+L=J seems like the most likely option. But, remember- Jon isn't a Stark or a Targaryen.
