Kanon
“No more than I want Joy to marry the son of some scheming turncloak bitch. She deserves better.” Jaime would happily have strangled the woman with her seashell necklace." AFFC.This is either a reference to Tyrion killing Shae or a foreshadow of Jaime Valonqar ( Margaery called Cersei a "vile, scheming evil bitch")
YvyB
It reminds me of the tourney in The Hedge Knight, how the opponents mirrored ones in the present day.Yes! I've just read that bit and noted it myself. I was thinking more might happen, then of course it didn't .
Naathi Prince
in aGoT, everything in Jon's POV points towards him becoming a steward. During training, he mainly does the tasks of a steward, keeping counts, etc. not the tasks of a ranger and at the feast after Thorne says they are all to be inducted, he is invited to sit by the fire by Bowen Marsh, not Jeremy Rykker. Field of Asphodel
Cersei and Ned Stark's meeting in the godswood:"Why here?" Cersei Lannister asked as she stood over him."So the gods can see."Now with Bran's connected to the godswood-net, this seems extra significant. Tewks44
From a Jon POV in ACoK"He began to flex his hand, opening and closing the fingers. If he let his sword hand stiffen and grow clumsy, it well might be the end of him, he knew."
