Sarnius
For anyone who doesn't know what indocrination is from Mass Effect -"Indoctrination is the term used for the "brainwashing" effect the Reapers and their technology have on organic beings".Anyways I think The Others(AKA; Really Reapers from Mass Effect) indoctrinated Ned while he was locked up in the dungeons after he was accused of being a traitor. They did this because they wanted him to take control of Westeros(over-time) and secure the throne for them to rule over the entire world.Everything, everything unexplained happened because of the Reapers(AKA the Others).Jons mother is a reaper. Rhaegar and Lyanna were indoctrinated and so did these idiotic acts. The Mad king was indoctrinated. Everyone who's been crazy was indoctrinated.Hell even Rickon is indoctrinated.Warging is not the process, no the Stark children indoctrinate their animals for a period. In Ned's dream(The process of the Indoctrination), Ned is killed and then over time; everything will go so bad that it will force Ned's mind to think the entire world is a lost cause and it will go on the side of the Reapers. The question is though, who's Shepard? Is Ned Shepard? Or is Joffrey Shepard? Since Joffrey is a firm fighter in Ned's mind.Who do you think is Shepard?

BondJamesBond
Yes, I'm sure grrm spent over two decades of work to tie it in to a video game not yet invented at the time he started writing. And that's covering the sane part of your post.
Tony Soprano
Huh. An intresting theory. :PBut " The Reapers " harvest races only when they're at the peak of their advancement. The Westerosi are far from that. :PAnd also, Ned wasn't indoctrinated." Lord Eddard was stuborn. Honor, he called it. "
Lady Hodor
In what possible way is A Song of Ice and Fire like Mass Effect? I've played it a lot, yet I'm struggling to see any connection.
Darth Rivers
Obvious troll is obvious. I wonder how you got someone to believe it's serious, though, so kudos to you.
