Sarnius
I think mid 2014 is a fair estimation considering Martin's pace. What do you think?
Pellaeon
2013 or 2014 considering the sixth book needed for season 7 2017 of GoT and the seventh for season 8 2018 and he need time for the seventh book
Night Gathers
According to Wiki: With 200 finished pages by March 2012, Martin hopes to finish The Winds of Winter much faster than the fifth book. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Winds_of_Winter) So 2014 sounds about right I guess.
Ferrum Aeternum
Is this a pool? What do we win if we guess right?? :D I'll (optimistically) throw out September of 2014.

Lady Hodor
I think Christmas time, 2014, somewhere mid-December.But I would also allow the following summertime of 2015 if it were needed. If it went into 2016 I might start to get edgy waiting... Crown
Winter 2013 (wishful thinking) or winter 2014. At least make it happen in the winter.
LordBloodraven
I'm more excited about the publication date of the World of Ice and Fire and the next Dunk novella than The Winds of Winter truly. I don't dare hope for the latter
Spring Bass
This thread is probably going to get locked, but what the hell. I'm putting my money on a mid-2015 release, which would give GRRM more than 2 1/2 years to work on the book before submitting it.
Axon
2014. The success of the HBO show and the plotlines outlined in ADWD will help/demand that he get these things out relatively quickly.

AryasPinCushion
Winter 2013 (wishful thinking) or winter 2014. At least make it happen in the winter. I wouldn't mind winter 2012 either. (Wishfullier thinking)

Wyman's Man
Hopefully winter 2014, but that seems ages away. Also I will echo others and ask when the next Dunk and Egg novella will come out? Also World of Ice and Fire.

mcb
According to Wiki: With 200 finished pages by March 2012, Martin hopes to finish The Winds of Winter much faster than the fifth book. (http://en.wikipedia....Winds_of_Winter)Now that's certainly great news. After "A Feast for Crows", the next book, "A Dance with Dragons" was almost ready and scheduled to be released probably the following year. And now, GRRM is writing even faster!Forgive me if I'm not optimistic. I won't even try guessing. I just hope for another Dunk and Egg story in the foreseeable future. *expletivedeleted*
he really does seem to be making far better pace, comparable to the early aSoIaF books. So i agree on 2014. Bit off topic, but does anyone else think there will be an additional book added to the series.
