effervesce
To clarify, I mean specifically as a commoner because, let's face it, that's the vast majority of the population, so if you were born there that's probably what you would be.I would choose Dorne, for a few reasons:1) They seem to care more about merit than superficial features, as evidenced by how women are treated in their culture (being sexually liberated, able to inherit, etc.).2) Dorne is, so far, relatively unscathed by the war and chaos in Westeros.3) I love spicy food, and IIRC, Dornish cuisine is described as such. Lord Orys Baratheon
The Arbor, wine all day, yes please. Hopefully ale as well, that'd be the life for me.
victim
The Reach, probably. Doesn't get too cold and I'm not much for the sandy/desert terrain of Dorne.
kephv
Braavos for Essos. Somewhere in the Reach for Westeros (I'm tempted to say Winterfell winter town, but long winter and famine doesn't bode well for smallfolk).
LizardLion
Asshai to learn magic and stuff, and explore the shadowlands.
A Dance of Ice and Fire
One of the free cities maybe, they just seem more cultured than Westeros or back in the glory days of Old Valyria. It would've been an interesting place to live seeing dragons flying overhead and all those magical structures.
Tony Soprano
I'd like to live somewhere in the Stormlands. I think the climate would suit me best. Or maybe one of the free cities, probably Norvos.
Baelor Blackfyre
The Fingers. So that one day I may rise high above my station and develop a diabolical master plan that causes the Great Houses of Westeros to go to war with one another and allows me to be the ruler of the world!!! but despite all this I still end up with a lame ass nickname...and then I start to fall for a cute young redhead that somehow becomes my undoing. The Drunkard
During peace time, the Reach. Seems like a nice place with good weather, as well as being fertile and easy to survive in. During current times though? Dorne. Everywhere north of Dorne seems to be in conflict and dangerous for a peasant.
vleeter
If it's anything like the show portrays it, Qaarth. Tell me that isn't paradise.

Child of Spring
I liked the description of Tarth. It's warm, peaceful and secluded. I don't believe that war affected it in any way (but I can be wrong). And it's on the east side of Westeros so the Ironborn are far far away and can't raid it like the Bear Island for example. Kung Fu Kiddo
In Westeros: the Reach or maybe the Stormlands, as a member of a noble familyBut preferably in Essos, either in Pentos or Braavos. As a wealthy noblewoman in Pentos, of course. And a courtesan in Braavos :leer:
Malgarroth
Probably Dorne.I hate hot weather, I despise spicy food and dark-skinned women don't do it for me as much as, say, a nice pale redhead. But as a commoner it's the safest place in Westeros, I'd say. One was naked.
Highgarden. Probably the classiest place in Westeros. Imagine the servants life there is pretty posh.
