Powerful stuff.)Theon surviving and his subsequent transformation. (I thought he was probably just killed. Never anticipated his dramatic new arc.)The Red Wedding. From a narrative perspective it was a huge risk to take, but I'm glad GRRM did it.Varys killing Kevan.Connecting the dots when it came to Littlefinger and realizing he is the most insidious character we've met.Dunk & Egg:Baelor Breakspear dying.Ser Eustace and Lady Rohanne--blew my mind a little bit.They set the betrayal of Sansa pretty well with Shae in the show. I missed the bit during the Red Wedding when Theon was still alive, so that was something of a double whammy.Sam killing an Other (yay!).Lysa getting pushed out the Moon Door.Speaking of which, pretty much everything in Sansa's last Storm chapter was a whopper.Stoneheart.Aegon being alive.How Oberyn vs. Gregor went down.And many, many, many more.This is why predicting Winds is so impossible.
