Padraig Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Somebody jumped me in a thread somewhere , sometime, saying Valyrian was Dany's 'learned' language to distinguish it from her "Mother Tounge" ... I guess S3E4 settles that issue.She did use the term "Mother tongue" but I don't think it had the classic meaning. She meant that Valyrian is her people's tongue (the Targaryens), not that she grew up speaking Valyrian normally. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
