Did Arthur Dayne ever lose part of his hand? (In reference to the Arthur Dayne is Quorin Halfhand theories)

Yes, he seemed to be doing fine.

He suffered an open fracture and the wound was closed, yes. However, later, when he is in the black cells, it goes "He could feel a dull ache in his shattered leg, an itch beneath the plaster. When he touched his thigh,

the flesh was hot to his fingers." These are symptoms of infection, osteomyelitis (infection of bone or bone marrow), and progressing - later, "Ned was feverish by then, his leg a dull agony". He wasn't doing fine, without ATB treatment, the bone would dissolve and the infection might be lethal.
