the appropriate punishment for robb betraying house frey?

proud honorable frey

Targaryens are finished, when they runaway and their armies were crushed, Robert become king by right of conquest and therefore Stannis is the rightful heir. Yes, it's that simple.

by this logic that means Joffery becomes king by right of conquest after black water, so your king is wait for it............. a traitor

Nope, Stannis hasn't left Westeros yet, he didn't gave up on his claim, like Targaryens did when they left for Essos.

and a potential child killer. what kind of savage god permits throwing childeren into the fire pits?

Im sorry but do u not see the hypocracy in what you are saying. Yes Stannis has done some questionable things. You condemn Stannis for being a potential child killer while on the other hand praising Ramsay even though he killed Domeric Bolton. Some consistency would be nice.

renly was 21, he was brought up in times of peace, that is like saying a 5 year old is a looser because he is a virgin..

And Robb was sixteen. Your argument is invalid.

Also, to continue your analogy, there's even less reason to call said 5-year-old a sex machine.

so then stannis gave up his king ship when he left westeros to go north of the wall... BOOM

Err... North of the Wall is still Westeros, and he is still fighting for Westeros. While all the other fools cared about a lame throne, he realized he has to care for the realm as his duty dictates and went to the place where the true treath lies..

Sorry buddy, Lannisters cannot get the throne by right of conquest unless Stannis lose the war. Stannis lost one battle. He shall win the war.

you care enough to respond..."patchy" but as for the other question about ramsay killing domeric; that is speculation. if you read "beyond the wall" you will find that it was roose who actually killed domeric and ramsay simple "took the fall" to prove his loyality to to roose. ramsay is brutal, ruthless...BUT DOES HE STRIKE U AS A MAN HE POISONS PEOPLE?. no. idont think so.

First off the North was in dire straits but never lost. Only the western half was plagued by the iron born. The eastern side could have been raised to route out the iron born in the west and then descend upon moat caillin from the north while Robb and company came from the south, east, and west.

Boltons and the Freys treacherous natures are what did in Robb. Castles can be rebuilt and families can be rebirthed. Robb was denied the chance to do either.

And the freys should have never demanded anything of robb as they should have been defending the riverlands from the Lannisters.they used their position to extort unreasonable terms from forces coming to the aid of their liege lord. But clearly we should expect no less from a house which sided with the Blackfyres.

There is no king but the King in the North and his name be Stark! The King in the North! The King of Winter! The Ned! The Young Wolf!
