Bill Bailey for Patchface?

After reading that the English comedian, Bill Bailey, had auditioned (unsuccessfully) for the role of "Gloin" in The Hobbit, as he had also auditioned to play Gimli in Lord of the Rings, it got me thinking that maybe he could get a part in Game of Thrones.

Which role that would be was not immediately obvious to me, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought he could play one of the fools. I believe he could play any of them well, but I think he would be best as Patches.

For anyone who isn't familiar with Bill's work, here are a couple of clips to showcase his talents.

I would love to hear other board members thoughts on this. Its a real shame that he couldn't get a part in LOTR or The Hobbit. Lets get him in Game of Thrones.

I think Bill Bailey could do creepy...he can certainly do weird. Just picture that long, stringy hair being all oily, and those strange beady eyes. Does he have the edge I wonder, cause he seems like such a hyggelig(danish for cosy/nice/warm) guy. I'd love to see him get the chance!:-D
