LordStoneheart Posted January 26, 2013 Share Posted January 26, 2013 The post about The Winds of Winter being a bad title was locked before I would weigh, so I want to try again.I do like TWoW as a title, because it has this foreboding feel to it. But as other pointed it, it loses the "A" pattern the others books had. That shouldn't be a big deal, I guess. Some series' patterned titles can seem a little cheesy (Mercy Thompson, anyone?) Also, winds isn't an event-type noun like the others were.. game, clash, storm, feast, dance...So how about some suggestions for tWoW, just for fun?Alternatively, maybe some others out there think the other five books could have had better titles. The Mountain That Posts Posted January 26, 2013 Share Posted January 26, 2013 In said thread I made, some user pointed out that the reason I came up with the title "A Taste of Winter" was actually because GRRM's blogs with the sample TWoW chapters were all labeled "A Taste of Winter" and that I must've, subconsciously, gotten that title(which everyone hated) from.
