I think Hemsworth is too tall, ripped and good looking to play Ned. Ned is supposed to be sort of average phsyically but with incredible character, leadership and resolve. Though, he would kill it as Robert.It is not much of a stretch really. Essentially Hiddleston and Hemsworth would just be swapping hair colours. Henry Cavill is probably just a little short of being perfect for Robert. The Tudors showed he could play charming, drinking and womanizing all at once and still be likeable. However, if you're trying to be realistic, it's highly unlikely that you would get a cast including Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Henry Cavill. These guys are movie stars already committed to their own huge franchises. And while Game of Thrones may be a respected franchise on a respected television network, there is still a stigma regarding TV and once you've made it into movie stardom, it's rare that actors would go back to television unless they are character actors, their careers take a hit or they are doing a guest spot. If we're going realistic, I think Henry Cavill is an awful choice. For one thing, it would be hard to believe that he transforms into Mark Addy in seventeen years. The Robert of the show is not tall like he is in the books. I think this would be a more realistic choice - Moe Dunford (http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140314131516/vikingstv/images/thumb/0/00/AethelwulfWessex_c1.png/500px-AethelwulfWessex_c1.png). He's strong and reasonably handsome and looks like he could turn into Mark Addy's Robert in seventeen years with some extra weight gain and grey hair. I don't think so. 26-year old Tom Felton (just four years younger than Harry Lloyd) playing a 5 year old Viserys? Yeah, I'm not sure that would work either. I do like some of the suggestions though. Eoin Mackey looks like he would play a great Brandon Stark and I could see Bill Nighy playing Aerys Targaryen. Gary Oldman either although I don't think he does much TV. Charlize Theron's a big fan of the show so it would be wonderful to see her play Rhaella but I don't know if she'd take the giant pay-cut. I don't think we'll ever see a Robert Rebellion TV show anyway because HBO/GRRM seem pretty committed to telling the story within the actual Game of Thrones show/books. Besides, since both Natalie Dorner and Gwendoline Christie are joining Liam in Mockinjay parts I and II, we might as well continue with the GoT/Hunger Games actors connection :P Liam's big bro Chris would fit more a Targaryen character and Sam Claffin (also of HG) could be a good Rhaegar. He portrayed a very convincing Finnick so he could as well manage Rhaegar. You would have to use the GOT actors as a guideline for a prequel or flashback cast, not the books. That is why I like Sam Claflin as a young Ned because he could pull off a young Sean Bean, despite not being what I would imagine a young Ned looking like (grey eyes, long face, brown hair). The same especially applies to Lyanna, if she is Jon's mother (I have to say that...people get peeved when theories are treated as fact :dunce: ) then you can't have Kit Harrington with black curls and brown eyes, Rhaegar with silver hair and Lyanna with brown hair and grey eyes. Seriously, people get caught up on ''Black hair = Baratheon' so Jon would be presumed the lovechild of Lyanna and Robert if neither of his supposed parents (Lyanna and Rhaegar) have black hair and it can't be Rhaegar. Robert was a very strong guy in his youth, and some seem to think of him as a beast. He was a beast. When he was furious you had to fear him, but he was also known for his charm.He is a big, blackhaired guy, and he has blue eyes.
