[BOOK SPOILERS] What does this title refer to?

Recommended Posts

Wouldn't this make her want to not leave KL? Might make for some good scenes with Little Finger, maybe some plotting and spying between LF, Tywin, QoT (with Shae/Ros and Varys tied in for good measure)

Edit: Unless they plan on her and Loras inheriting Highgarden in which case the Kingsguard appointment by Joffrey would be an incorporatingly cunning move by Tywin

I agree! This would be perfect as it would mirror what Aerys did to Tywin- took his only suitable heir to Casterley rock and put him in the Kingsguard disguising it as a "great honour", but really it was to keep Jaime close in order to guarantee Tywin's loyalty to him.

Works really well with the ridiculous amounts of parallels between the Lannisters and the Tyrells in general and more specifically Jaime and Loras.

They can's replace Willas with Loras, because Loras is in the KG.

The title may refer to many things; the plaza in Astapor, Ramsay's game, Jaime losing his hand, the trial of the Hound.

Well, it looks like given the dialogue between Dany, Jorah and Selmy, the "Walk of Punishment" refers to the slaves sentenced to death displayed along the walkway in Astapor.
