[book spoilers] Did you like Shireen/Patchface's song?

I like that they are including the songs in the show too. And yes, Shireen singing it was creepy, especially during the closing sequence. Somewhat ominous. And I also feel really bad for Shireen, whom her crazy mother keeps locked in that awful room.

Yes, I like it. It was creepy, but that's just spice to the show.

I thought it was brilliant and I haven't been able to shake the tune from my head. Her haunting rendition of it was beautiful.

Loved it, better than I imagined it reading the books.

It was really good, especially having a little girl sing it with a little girl's sweet angelic voice. It added to the moodiness of it. My hubby was like "Turn that off!" it creeped him out so bad.

Yes, I heard the song in an audiobook and the song was sung in a comical way which suits Patchface. The version on the show is much better.

Loved it. Way creepier than i imagined. So far this kind of merging Shireen with Patchface seems like a good change.

It sounded really sad and creepy at the same time. I always imagined it to be comical when sung by Patchface but overall a decent change from the books where it was borderline annoying.

I'm sad to not see Patchface, I always thought there was more to that character than we have seen so far. But I guess if he's not been included in the show then thats probably not the case. They may continue to have Shireen sing his songs (and in a way, fill his role) as a little bit of fan service but I can't see it being any more than that sadly.

I never knew how to read the "oh, oh, oh" part without it sounding stupid in my head. I loved the way they did it in the show.

Yes this has been one of the rewrites I have been pleased with.

Was stuck in my head for a few days after I first heard it. Not sure if that's the sign of a good song or a bad one anymore, to be honest :P

Was adorably creepy though. Fitting.

It didn't stop her from going to see Davos... I agree Shireen is probably one of the more pitiable characters though.

So far I've liked all the book song adaptations and yeah this was creepy, though there was definitely something about the maniacal way I imagined Patchface singing his dark omens like they were something grand about to happen, jumping from one foot from another and rattling the bells on his hat while he was doing so as well. I've always imagined him as something of a cartoon character more than a real life one anyway though...

I loved it. I thought Shireen singing it was more creepier.

I really liked it too...but sad there is no Patchface. An overused character at times in the books, but a good one anyway.

Speaking of which- VERY sad to have no Damphair! Or is he in the next book? I thought he showed up by now.

oh man now this song is burnt into my head, I hope it will be in the soundtrack for this season, and the Bear and Maiden fair song too, both versions
