Let's cast Aegon and his loyal followers...

The Sky Maid Crew

Aegon "Young Griff" Targaryen - Mitch Hewer

Jon "Griff" Connington - Stephen Moyer

Rolly Duckfield - Robert Kazinsky

Septa Lemore - Claire Forlani

Haldon Halfmaester - James Callis

The Golden Company (Characters I think have a chance of getting into the show)

Harry Strickland - Billy Boyd

Balaq - David Harewood

Franklyn Flowers - Ricky Grover

Tristan Rivers - Robson Green

Anymore ideas or suggestions?

I think Mitch Hewer would suit the role as Aegon. However, he's probably too young for the show as technically he is slightly older than Dany, yet show Dany looks to be in her early 20's.

Maybe, but there's only three years between them, I think they could pull it off.

Aegon begins and ends with Robert Sheehan.

God no, he's awful.

I'm still holding out for Kevin McKidd for JonCon, but a random thought just brought Steven Waddington as an option for JonCon to mind.

Somebody had a good suggestion for Young Griff/Aegon/fAegon, but I cannot remember who it was. I'll have to go digging for it.

Solid choice for Rolly

Evan Peters has done some good work with American Horror Story on FX, I think he could pull of a Targ, though may be he's better suited--looks wise--to play the Kingslayer if they ever do a prequel.

Damian Lewis would be an awesome Griff if he would sign up to do something like this (though I think he's too big a name now).

I think Steven Waddington would play a good Griff as well: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0905357/

My only choices for the roles:

Aegon - Bradley James

Aegon - Douglas Booth (he's a tad young for the role but I loved him as Pip in Great Expectations, though, tbh, the chances of getting him are slim. He's very busy at the moment with some major films, and seems on the cusp of breaking big).

Jon Conn - John Simm (unfortunately he looks to be tied up with The Village for the foreseeable future).

Jon Conn - Philips Glensiter

Aegon: William Mosely http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0608440/?ref_=sr_1 Jon Connington - Sean Harris http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2441196800/nm0365317 Septa Lemore - Polly Walker http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0908116/?ref_=sr_1 I don't really think they'll cast Rolly or Haldon but if they do Diarmaid Murtagh would make a great Rolly http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2664216064/nm2846393 (note: he's the big guy in the pic)

This is all good and well, but I guess that Rolly Duckfield and the Halfmeaster are the first characters to be cut (or, more likely, merged into one dude) for the TV adaption with regard to the young Griff's entourage and for good reason.

Again, I don't see you guys agreeing because OMG 6,2'' HUNK ODED FEHR IS THE SHITS BECAUSE ETHNIC, but James Callis could pull off the Red Viper like a fucking Boss in my opinion (@OP).

The Sky Maid Crew

Aegon "Young Griff" Targaryen -

Bradley James

William Moseley, http://fansiter.com/2009/08/williammoseley.jpg

Jon "Griff" Connington -

Kevin McKidd

Steven Waddington - At this point, he's probably my first choice, Kevin McKidd is busying with Grey's anatomy still (correct?)

Kris Holden-Ried - A little younger then how I would imagine Griff(JonCon) being, but I think he's suitable

Ser Rolly Duckfield -

Rob Kazinsky - OP's choice for Duck, he seems like a solid choice for the role

Septa Lemore -

I don't really have a choice for her yet.

Haldon the Halfmaester -

James Callis - again, OP's choice for Haldon, and I agree he's a solid option

The Golden Company...coming soon

I'd rather Aegon be played by someone of modest good looks, not some preteen heart throb.

Aegon - Douglas Booth (he's a tad young for the role but I loved him as Pip in Great Expectations, though, tbh, the chances of getting him are slim. He's very busy at the moment with some major films, and seems on the cusp of breaking big).

What? If he can grow facial hair, he's not too young.

Absolutely. Though I would consider Kit Harrington, Richard Madden and Finn Jones to be of the heart-throb variety, especially when they take their shirts off, the show manages to make it seem less so.
