Werthead Posted August 3, 2016 Author Share Posted August 3, 2016 The Crystal Shard is badly written (Salvatore gets far on enthusiasm over craft) but the actual story structure is pretty decent, and it would jump from page to screen very easily. It's got big action beats, a few comedy scenes, some character-building stuff. It actually reads like a movie synopsis. Dark Elf I think you have to build to, and might only be possible as a spin-off TV series or somehing. There are action scenes and CG moments, but it's very introspective and I'm not sure would work well on screen (Homeland especially). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
