Ampris
This is an episode that moves plot. You have to have episodes that move the story without much actionYes, thank you! Necessary! :agree:
Ampris
I liked "Boy" blowing that damn horn. And quite a lovely gold chain that Tyrion gave Shae.Got me wondering whether or not that will be the chain he uses to strangle her with...
Xall
I could be wrong but didn't Talisa's letter say "Marriage approved". If so, this is complete evidence that she is a pawn in the RW.Nah, seems more like Tolkien dribble
cacocasarin
Anybody know if Argus Filch is coming back as Walder Frey this year?http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0305328/?ref_=fn_al_ch_1Yes he is definitely coming back and if anybody still has doubts whether episode 9 is the RW, this pretty much confirms it. NoneofYourBiz
I do have to say that Talisa writing the letter did make me believe in the "Talisa is a spy" theory. It makes sense the more I think of it. They make such a point of them being all kissy all the time that I think it's a plot device to make the RW all the more tragic to non book readers when she betrays him. Now I wish I had paid more attention to what she was saying when Robb was asking who she was writing to and she said her mother. She said something about her mother being surprised about a lot of things that sounded a little ominous. go joff go
^ I think that considering they almost called the episode chains that it is that chain.
Janicia
I liked the chain showing up. I enjoyed Tyrion's conversation with Bronn. I also really liked Jon telling Ygritte that her cause is doomed, and his eyes telling her that he's not gonna run off together. This episode explored a bunch of different, mostly romantic, relationships. All the people saying "I am yours and you are mine". And then we have Jaime and Brienne making no such claims, but making real choices in that direction. I guess Margery actually cares about Sansa, or perhaps sees her as being potentially useful? Was a little surprised that Margery and Sansa were still spending time together. I liked the meeting between Tywin and Joffrey. Sure nothing happened, no violence was threatened and whatnot. But it is neat to see Joffrey trying to figure out how to inhabit the role of the king. And Tywin returning to his role of hand to a bad king. I agree with putting Theon on screen this season, but I'd be happy to see less of his suffering.
yushkevsh
Welp, the whores in Westeros are so modern when it comes to body hair eh? Guess the bikini wax got there before electricity and the penicilin.True, or Westeros just has a better grip on priorities. :cool4:As for the rest of the episode, Ygritte is getting more and more annoying, ditto Shae and yes the garden talk was ... painful. You actually got the feeling Sansa was warming up (just a smidgen) to the idea of a spending her life with an ugly, scarred, whoring imp instead of a handsome (albeit ... you know) prince. Lady Lea
I'll miss Tywin when he's gone. Charles Dance is so wonderful. Maybe they can put a wig on him and give him a new character lol
BlueDragon
But he hadn't, by that point, and was about to embark on a major, doomed campaign. Here he's got what he feels is a strategic masterstroke brewing (albeit a somewhat desperate one), and his wife is pregnant. There's no real urgency to take a pretty unprecedented action with regard to Jon.of course there is a reason to make an explicit will. Robb knows he is losing the war. Two of his brothers are probably dead, one of his sisters is missing and one is in the hands of the enemy.Pregnancies sometimes don't yield children and he might have a daughter.I wish people would thing just a tiny little bit before posting and not make predictions sound like fact. For the record, Talisa is up to something, but it isn't ratting out Robb. ckongo
What, you didn't imagine that lap dances would be involved?LOL I just couldn't buy that. It was like a torture porn fantasy. Ramsay hunts women and flays them. They don't become his accomplices in his torture.
Golden Lion
I think Cat had more lines of dialogue as Lady Stoneheart. Seriously, I swear she speaks 1 sentence every third episode. Waste of Michelle Fairly.
go joff go
I still think we get the Jon will scene.
Frumpus
By the way, apparently Jaime will be getting to King's Landing before the Purple Wedding. I don't know if it's any importance...Well that's going to be interesting...
