It should be noted I was Unsullied for S1 and S2.1) Fire and Blood (birth of the dragons; complete shock and juxtaposition to the tame fantasy shown in the series thus far; never picked up on any foreshadowing at the time)2) The Rains of Castamere3) The Pointy End (was still Unsullied, watched this right after Littlerfinger held Ned at knifepoint, and that's when I knew Sean Bean was yet ANOTHER dead man :rolleyes: )4) Baelor5) Blackwater6) And Now His Watch Has Ended (i couldn't believe how excited I was to hear Daenerys scream about how she was the blood of Old Valyria after all the boring times in s2)7) Valar Morghulis (House of the Undying; Jaqen face change; Bran&co departing a ruined Winterfell)8) Second Sons9) You Win or You Die ("When you play the game of thrones..." -Cersei)10) Kissed By Fireedit: Disappointing mention of Mhysa at #23 :( Although, I noticed a lot of great moments in my #20-30 as well, which I think is a testament to just how great this show/series is all around. The Rains of Castamere- the more I think about it the more I think they did the RW, and the entire set up to it, justice. Horrific.3. The Climb- here comes the surprising choice. One of the least favorite of the series, but for me it was AMAZING in terms of writing and characters depths. The montage at the end with Littlefinger's "Chaos is a ladder", the death of Rose, and the last shot on both sides of the wall... beautiful. Plus, Jamie and Brienne eating dinner with Bolton, The only good torturing scene of the season ("you forgot to ask if I was a liar") and the two Red Pristes meeting. Such an underated episode. shame. You immediately knew that guy meant business.- Littlefinger monologue about how whores should treat men. I loved that scene.- King's death- Littlefinger+Ned scenes and the betrayal on Ned. Great!- Drogo going on a fucking TILT. VAES DOTHRAK. And Dany almost orgasming about how he will rape their women and enslave their children. It's the most thematic episode the show has ever done, plus it has that unforgettable ending that pretty much cemented the show as something completely unique. But I'm glad that Blackwater is number one: given the resources they had, that episode was as close to perfection as you could possibly get.And I concur with the previous poster: what are your top ten, Ran?
