Daena the Defiant
I would love to make sister's stew and I am also tantalized by the duck roasted with cherries and lemons.Hoever, I would run screaming from the wacky shit that Danaerys eats: cold shrimp and persimmon soup, olives stuffed with maggots, dog sausage. However, I am intrigued by her beverage of wine cut by the juice of limes. I think that sounds refreshing. Also, I commend to your attention this amazing website, the Inn at the Crossroads where these two intrepid bloggers have gone about attempting many of the dishes and meals GRRM describes in his book and even provide recipes. They have also - with Martin's blessing - published a cookbook.

indignant mushroom
Suckling pig in plum sauce.Which I've made using this recipe from this site. (Hopefully my links work.)I do have the "official" cookbook and it's really good, but the website I just linked is also great. I love to spice up my boring Wisconsin beer'n'brat cooking every once in a while.
