Technically he can become king through conquest but its unlikely that the Great Houses and Realm in general would accept him. Even Roberts claim was based on the fact that his grandmother was Targaryen.

You don't need royal blood to become king - all you need is strong army of loyal supporters. But in LF case, even if by some unbelievable chance he became king, most of nobles would disdain him and challenge him with constant rebellions. He has trouble holding Vale; he'd have little chance ruling 7K,

If your question was does he have royal blood, the answer is no. His father was minor noble whose father (LF's grandfather) came from Braavos.

He also can't expect the Riverlands to follow him. His title as Lord Paramount of the Riverlands is meaningless at this point. They are die hard Stark Supporters, and once it will be revealed that it was him who betrayed Ned, half of the Kingdom won't follow him. While the other half won't follow him because of his birth, heritage and reputation.

Is Pyat Pree on the Silence?

It's not necessary to put information from first 5 books into spoiler tags. Only spoilers from WOW.

With that said, we can't be sure. We know Euron has captured some warlocks from Qarth, but it's not mentioned whether Pyat Pree is among them or not.

Maybe he's the Dusky Woman!

He's doing an unethical experiment. If you haven't finished reading ADWD, keep reading before someone else accidentally spoil things to yah. But if you have some questions or other things you'd like to discuss and you're still reading Dance, you can try using the ADWD still reading section.

They're chosen. Arya talks about which candidates are favored when she's Cat.

In GoT why does Maester Aemon tell Tyrion that he is seldom called kind?

Just after he tells Tyrion that he is a giant.

For once, Tyrion Lannister found himself at a loss for words. He could only bow his head politely and say, “You are too kind, Maester Aemon.”

The blind man smiled. He was a tiny thing, wrinkled and hairless, shrunken beneath the weight of a hundred years so his maester’s collar with its links of many metals hung loose about his throat. “I have been called many things, my lord,” he said, “but kind is seldom one of them.”

This time Tyrion himself led the laughter.

Think of how many tragedies could have been averted had Aemon taken the throne. At least that is what I think.

Why was Benjen allowed to go to WF when Robert arrived to make Ned hand? He is technically no longer a Stark, and he is also not a NW recruiter.

He is first ranger, so would have certain privileges. He is still a Stark though, and that counts for a lot.

I think it was a special case thing considering he's Ned's brother who's Robert's friend who would be the one to hit up for help for the watch. In other words he would be more likely to get help out of Robert than, say, Yoren for example.

It always feels a bit off to me too. References to him in D&E suggest he's always been a real nice dude. Maybe it's just because he's a Targ and Targs are not known for being nice.

But what tragedies would have been avoided?
