baxus Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 i might be missing something, but the only thing left after genghis khan's conquests were trails of destruction (and the aforementioned genetic mix).his heirs tore the empire to pieces in a matter of decades and one century later mongols were nothing but a bad memory for most of the people in asia.on the other hand, byzantine empire was a cultural hub of europe and middle east, lasted for a thousand years, was a beacon of culture in dark ages...also, roman empire went out in the early stages, as well as athenian democracy and quite a few others while a horde of savages won in the end.what is it that i'm not seeing? It's too soon for more actors, IMO.Two suggestions: Current athletes might make for an easier time creating lists than all time athletes.Make sure there is a good representation, rather than 30 socceristas, or 30 American football players.A few suggestions for athletes:Rafael Nadal, Lionel Messi, Kobe Bryant.
