Lady Asha
Which characters do you tend to feel the most sympathy for?Are there any characters that you feel sympathy for who are not traditionally "good guys"? In Westeros, pretty much everybody gets a raw deal and a bad rap. Just wondering whose plight calls to you personally. I've got to say I feel most sorry for Arya, with my weird sort of/kind of sympathy for Theon bringing up the rear. And Jamie Lannister. I feel zero sympathy for Tywin, on the other hand. aceluby
Cat has the most sympathy from me...She tells Ned not to go south, then tells him he has to after Bran, which leads to Ned dying. The same act leads to both of her daughters being prisonersThen she finds out one of those daughters cannot be found and is presumed dead. Then she tells Robb not to send Theon to the Iron Islands, yet he does so anywayThis leads to her believing her two youngest sons are deadShe then warns Robb of Frey treachery, but has to support her son's decision to get the Frey armyThis leads to her watching her son be murdered in front of her eyes before being murdered herselfSeriously, going from a happy family with 5 healthy children to a widow with 4 children dead and one a prisoner is one of, if not the most depressing arcs of the entire series. Nobody deserves that.
Jessica Rogers
I think I feel the most sympathy for Stark children because I think they have lost the most. especially Rickon.
Gurkhal
Cat,Sansa and Cersei for me. Always makes me sad when I think of them. :( Sansa and Cat for what they are forced to experience and Cersei because she's had a horrible fate twisted by an staggering incompetence. TheMysteriousOne
I pity Catelyn, Cersei, Theon, Bran and Arya the most in ASOIAF. I also sympathze with Daenerys, Sansa and Tyrion to a lesser degree.

The seed is strong
Half the characters: Arya, Sansa, Catelyn, Bran, Rickon, Jaime, Tyrion, Brienne, Jon, Samwell, Quentyn, Shireen, Davos, Theon, Jeyne Poole (OMG poor girl) etc etc etc.Doesn't mean I agree with the things some of them have done but I still feel sorry for them. Duncan the Lunk'n
No one.... heh see what i did there... but really probably Arya, she spent the better part of the war trying to get to anyone in her family, and really being pretty close to riverrun at one point

Lord Puff Fish
Jeyne Poole. Her father was killed, she was taken under Littlefinger's "protection", meaning she was placed in a brothel, and then she was forced to impersonate Arya and marry Ramsay Snow. jon stark I
If we are talking about POV characters then of course it is Stark family. But if we are talking about anyone in the books then I have to say Jeyne Poole.Actually the pain they suffered are in different catogories. Bob Sacamano
Jesse Pinkman...Seriously, the Reeds...What the hell are they going to do for the rest of their lives? Just walk out of the cave and go on their merry way? At least Bran has a purpose in the cave.
juanml82
Sorry? Theon and Jeyne Poole. And likely all the other victims of Ramsay, but few are named and no details (fortunately) are given.

Lady Isobel
Well Joffrey of course!! Just kidding! :cool4: Apart from the obvious choice - the Starks including Jon - Jaime when they cut off his hand and he found out the truth about Cersei, Tyrion because he gets one disappointment after another, Gilly for having to give up her baby, Weasel and (I never thought I'd say this) Theon, I think he has paid his debts by now.
