I'm on midnights now, so my posting times are likely going to pick up again. I've actually been able to watch quite a few games so far, but it's so damn early I don't have a lot to go on yet. Plus I've been up to my eyeballs planning this charity hockey game, so that's been a lot of my free time. I feel like every Whalers fan I've encountered became a bitter, vitriolic college/minor-league hockey enthusiast who purchases 'Canes gear to burn it... It's definitely an uphill battle from here on out. I don't even know if there's a silver lining out there because the player touted as the next generational NHL talent (Connor McDavid) isn't eligible until the 2015 draft.
